This weekend in engineering, we made strong progress on our current offseason projects. We were able to place two talons on Excalibot, replace the gear shaft motor, and begin fixing its electrical board and reconstructing its shooter. Also, we tested the functionality and efficiency of the pneumatic system on the t-shirt cannon before continuing to work on a new upper structure, which has been going through changes to support a new six-cannon firing system. In addition, we had a new student work with one of our graduating seniors to learn proper safety and usage when in control of the drill press, while working together on the t-shirt cannon.
